Cultural Governor training sessions

Join us for a focused training session designed to enhance your effectiveness as a school governor in promoting and supporting cultural education. This session will help you critically examine, understand, and reflect upon your school’s cultural education offer. Key focus areas include recognising the value of cultural education, being a supportive yet critical friend, advocating for the arts, and celebrating student achievements. By the end of the session, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and tools to make a meaningful impact on your school’s cultural landscape.

This event has been produced by CDCEP, with the support of Durham Music Service, TIN Arts, Durham University and Durham County Council.

Date: Thursday 24^th October – 5-7pm (arrive from 4.30) -will include a tour of The Story
